What created my love for Dolly you might ask? — Well, as a very young little girl, I spent countless hours and days with my “makeshift” microphone, a hairbrush mind you… it seemed to work just fine, and I would sing to the top of my lungs every time one of Dolly Parton’s songs, new and old alike, came on the radio you could be guaranteed that I “belting it out loud enough for the neighboring two to three counties to hear me loud and clear! I LOVED to sing them all — every last single one of the “country music icon’s of music. Time, is a thief, so it came and went and I grew up all along the way still loving Dolly and all of her music. One would have to literally admit that I grew up and was “Raised on Dolly!”
